Client: Arc'teryx Mississauga

Project: Earth Day Live Painting Activation

Year: 2023

Concept: A polar bear mother and cub — a single image that does double duty. It speaks to Arc'teryx's outdoor heritage, signals the climate stakes behind Earth Day, and carries the quieter human story of community and protection that resonates regardless of how someone showed up that day.

Execution: Live acrylic painting on a 24×36 canvas, staged at the Arc'teryx Mississauga storefront. Setup was designed to be visible from the mall corridor without obstructing entry — the storefront became the gallery, and the painting became the reason to stop.

Outcome: Increased dwell time at the storefront, a direct lift in walk-ins during the painting window, social-shareable content captured by both the Arc'teryx team and the public, and a finished piece gifted to a community member through a raffle — turning a one-day activation into a lasting brand artifact.

Role: Concept, artwork, on-site execution, and content capture by Christine & Arcteryx team
